The Kurt Hahn Society: Outward Bound's Planned Giving Program
The Kurt Hahn Society honors the incredible "seed" planted by Outward Bound founder, Kurt Hahn and celebrates those individuals who have made planned gifts to Outward Bound. Society Members commitment to Outward Bound through a bequest or other planned gift arrangement are helping to sustain the Hahn legacy and to extend it to future generations of students. Your gift will help Outward Bound to remain strong, ensuring support for scholarship students, key staff positions, programs and special initiatives.
Membership gifts include:

- Life Insurance Beneficiary Designations
- IRA or Pension Beneficiary Designations
- Life Estate Reserved (Gift of Personal Residence)

Outward Bound celebrates it's Hahn Society members with a specially designed Tiffany lapel pin. In addition, members are listed each year in our annual report (unless you request otherwise) and fellow donor stories are shared in our True North newsletter. Outward Bound makes special efforts to keep society members informed of new program developments and are given priority seating at seating at special events.
